“Jonah, Please Stop”= Me
watching all the kiddies today. Got to love Jonah, but he is more than a handful by himself. Counting down the hours for when back up arrives.
If only they would just sit and watch Elf quietly.

nickross: Phoenix - Summer Days
Ive been awake all night, and between watching a movie on hulu and browsing all random websites and blogs I keep running across this little girls story. Of course I had to read into it because the issue is so near and dear to my heart. Going through the blog which chronologically gives events and most recent updates, my heart couldnt help but break and cry out for healing for this little one. Her parents love for her and the Lord is so evident. This makes me so excited to be an Oncology Nurse. To be there for that journey; to be a nurse to provide hope and prayer. What a privilege it will be.
Sweet Daisy, Our Jesus loves you and your family. Nothing is hidden from His sight and nothing out of His complete control. He cares for you and upholds you.

This weekend I spent a wonderful time relaxing poolside with my dearest friends Brianne & Josh. Saturday: consisted of swimming and lounging in the pool, watching movies and having some good pillow talk with Breez till the wee hours of the morning. Sunday: egg sandwhiches, coffee, a movie (about a bunch of reh-tards), and then more relaxing and tanning by the pool. Too bad my camera is in China with Stevie, but Im definitely glad Josh documented this wonderful weekend. Basically, since I’m a loser without my fiance’ this sweet couple has adopted me as their own. It was the most chill weekend I have had in a very long time. Not to mention Im stowked Im not longer pasty white and got rid of some gnarly tan lines. (apparently I turned surfer in that last sentence). ha.
Thanks Bri & Josh. Good friends are hard to come by & you too are super special to me and Stevie. <3

Romans 11
Oh, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God!
How unsearchable his judgments,
and his paths beyond tracing out!
Who has known the mind of the Lord?
Or who has been his counselor?”
Who has ever given to God,
that God should repay him?”
For from him and through him and to him are all things.
To him be the glory forever! Amen
1 Timothy 1
I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who has given me strength, that he considered me faithful, appointing me to his service. Even though I was once a blasphemer and a persecutor and a violent man, I was shown mercy because I acted in ignorance and unbelief. The grace of our Lord was poured out on me abundantly, along with the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus. Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners—of whom I am the worst. But for that very reason I was shown mercy so that in me, the worst of sinners, Christ Jesus might display his unlimited patience as an example for those who would believe on him and receive eternal life. Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory for ever and ever. Amen.
My girlfriend, Michelle, who is a very dear friend to my family sent me this the other day because she knows me well and with all the uncertainties of the future, I become anxious and worry. So being the sweet and thoughtful person that she is decided to remind me of something I seem to forget very easily.
She said this, “Live in the moment. Give your all to what God has for you RIGHT NOW…not months ahead and trust that He is orchestrating every detail of it all. All those uncertainties in your life, give them to him because HE IS miles ahead of you and preparing every detail for YOUR good and because HE LOVES YOU that much!”
Thanks Michelle. Always so encouraging and positive. love you.

You and I both Ruth. So glad we found them <3
My dearest friends Brian and Lauren were married this week in Washington where they are both from. A couple of friends and myself piled into a minnie van together and drove 20 hours to celebrate a beautiful wedding. Of course the gorgeous and talented Shannen was there to capture every moment. I look forward to seeing her work on this wedding, because it was like a wedding from anthropologie. It was lovely, just lovely. Blessings to you both, for you have found love. May you grow with each other as you love the Lord and love each other until you just cant anymore. May the Lord bless you!!

Congrats to the new Mr. & Mrs. Brian Jack. Love you both dearly!
My 2 year anniversary was April 14th, but do to the fact that my fiance’ (at that time boyfriend) and I were in the midst of graduating from college, we decided to not celebrate this special day until we could fully enjoy it. Well after a whirl wind of new things [graduation, engagement, him leaving for china soon, etc.] we finally were able to find some free time to enjoy each other on May 25th. For a while I was deciding what I should make him or do for him. I usually make cards for him or little love notes that he keeps in a special box that holds all the little treasures of written letters that Ive given to him…he’s precious, I know. Well, not too long ago as I was browsing one of my favorite creative designers, greylikesweddings, I was inspired to replicate her beautiful idea of the “US” box. Although my attempt and pictures don’t nearly come close to hers, I was grateful for her idea as my fiance’ was appreciative for the time I took to create a gift that represented intangible things in our relationship and making them into tangible creations we can reflect on and add to in the future. Here is a little taste of what I put together. Enjoy! Thank you, Summer!!

Speaking on “Is God’s love enough?” and whether to serve overseas and/or supporting those who are.
If I could be any flower I think I would want to be a white anenome.
For one, I love the beach so to be an anenome, but on land would be perfect. Plus these perfect little white delicate flowers with their dark centers are just so gorgeous in their simplicity.

{You will be seeing more of these in the future}
So my sweet Fiance’ left for Asia yesterday for 2 1/2 months. I am so excited for what He is doing. I so look forward to the day when I meet him there and I am able to experience the country, culture, and people of a place in desperate need of Jesus Christ. Also, I will be able to experience what my handsome man is doing. Instead of pictures and stories, I get to see first hand and create moments in that country with him. May the Lord bless you and keep you, My love. You are the man I have always dreamed and prayed for. You love the Lord more than you love me, how can I ask for anything more? See you soon. <3

“You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men. “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven. (Matthew 5:13-16 NKJV)
